I have been a psychotherapist working with adults for almost 30 years, and I have been specializing in couples therapy since 1989. In my general practice I work with a wide range of clients, from the chronically mentally ill to relatively high functioning adults .
BA, Brooklyn College. Ph.D. The University of Michigan. Post-doctoral program in Clinical Psych, Case Western Reserve University. I chose to specialize in couples therapy when I discovered Imago Relationship therapy, and I was the first person in Minnesota certified as an Imago Therapist and Workshop Presenter. I integrate the work of Terry Real and John Gottman in an Imago framework. I also integrate mindfulness practices in my psychotherapy.
